Further details from Panasonic UK HDTV launch

Further to the news on Monday for the new HDTV models for the UK  we have some images and a video of interviews for you today. Below are the premium models in the Plasma line-up, the G20, V20 and VT20.

The various finishes are a move away from the normal black gloss with the high-end VT20 featuring a brown tint under strong lighting. The V20 features a neat gun metal finish with sharp edges and only the G20 looks anything like gloss black.  Confirmed features for these premium screens include ISFccc and THX on all models, with viera cast, wirless DNLA support and Skype calling via your TV.

We can also confirm some of the pricing and availability (subject to change)

The VT20 50 inch 3D TV will be £2,000 and available around June.

The VT20 65 inch 3D TV will be £4,000 and available later in the year (August at a guess).

The V20 42 and 50 inch plasmas with THX and ISF C3 controls will be approximately £1,300 and £1,800-£1,900 respectively and available May/June.

The G20 42, 46 and 50 inch plasmas with THX and ISF C3 controls will be approximately £1,100-£1,200 for the 42, +£150 for the 46 and +£150 more for the 50 and are available February/March.

The S20 42 and 50 inch plasmas based on last year’s G10 model will be approximately £900 for the 42 and +£150 for the 50 and available March/April.

The X20 37, 42 and 50 inch plasmas will cost approximately the same as the X10s, from £600-900 for the 42 & 50 and will be available February/March.
