JVC launch super slim 6.4mm TV in Japan

JVC in Japan have announced the release of the World’s Thinnest TV (Again!).

Measuring in at just 6.4mm the TV is the latest in a long line of designs that have graced the market in the past few years. It’s not quite a full success for JVC with the GD-32X1 as the back panel does extend to 22.5mm at the bottom of the screen to allow for Tuners and other electronics.

The GD-32X1 is certainly a design statement, however, it also packs in the technology to keep it ahead of the pack. Onboard you will find JVC’s Genessa image enhancement alongside 120Hz processing and a full 100% Rec.709 colour space and 96% Adobe RGB colour space.

There are no details for a UK launch at this moment in time.
